When you put a new garbage bag in the can, sometimes it has air bubbles. So even though the bag is new and empty, whatever you put in just sits at the top. And unless you let the air out, the bag won’t expand to its full capacity.
The air in the bag can be like the filler in our lives. Over time hurts and hang-ups can prevent us from experiencing life with the richness and fullness God intended. We stifle what we want because of what we hold on to.

Sometimes it's just wise to get a new bag! Throw out the air-filled/space-challenged bag and start anew! Speaking for myself, I've had the air-filled bag(s) crowded with stuff or content that I should have discarded or never, ever bagged! So I've thrown out that bag and now consciously fill it with the good of life and expand the bag's space as more good evolves and reflects from the love and favor of God. So my bag criteria is enhanced as "my will" becomes more and more enhanced by God's Will.
